Shy Mum wanting to make a lasting friendship...:)

Hi been a member for a little while don't post much ...just wanted to come in say Hi..
I am a Married SAHM, I live Bayside Brisbane.
I am shy and wanting to make a friend gets lonely at home with no adults to talk to ...
I miss having a close girlfriend also been living in Brisbane for about 4 years now.
I love it here, the only thing that gets to me is NOT having someone to chat to.
I wish I had a BFF, I miss being able to have me time,I miss having a GF to talk to on the phone
and going out for a girls night out....I don't like large groups or want a whole heap of friends I would be happy
with just 1...
Does anyone else feel the same or is it just me....maybe I am a nigle NO friends...lol...
So times it doesn't bother me, but to be honest at times it does....

Im another who is hearing ya. You are definately not alone. Im not located near you but Im sure you will find a lot of girls on here that will become good friends, if only through a screen. Hopefully you can find some close by too.

I've found some good friends through BB. It's worth interacting a bit online, finding someone you relate to, then offering to meet for coffee one on one. Or go to a Bb meet. It can seem a bit overwhelming at first but it gets you out of the house.

Maybe interact on some of the baby or other interest threads.

Btw- good on you for reaching out. That can feel scary to do.
