Carpet Stain- DH and his 'cleaning'...Grrrrrr

We have had a stain on our carpet for some time now and I havn't been able to conquer it. I had absolutely no idea where it came from til today....

DH used a sheet of newspaper to clean up a wee wee DD had on the carpet :o

I don' t know why he used newspaper, but as he scrubbed the carpet with the newspaper the ink rubbed off the newspaper and onto my carpet...I looked at him (glared should I say) and said "Well, atleast I know where the other stain came from"... :protest:

So now I have 2 lovely stains on my carpet and no solution on how to get the stain out. I even went as far as to purchasing a exxy carpet shampooer but even that didn't do the trick :wall:

Anyone had experience with an newspaper ink stain on the carpet before?

I'm thinking something like alcohol only cos at work I know I use those medical alcohol wipes to get ink and permanent marker off things maybe try something like that.

But sorry had to laugh at your DH using newspaper :rofl: but yeah I'd be ****ed too

Cavalier Bremworth is a good spray for most stains bar formula chucks.

For formula chucks I use ammonia and water.

Have you tried a carpet spotted designed for urine? You will have to use extraction with this method too...
