craving smells?!

Well I probably jinxed myself when I went through my whole pregnancy with ds and didn't have one unusual craving and felt a little let down lol.
so now this pregnancy I find im craving smells!? I just wanna no if that is even possible as I've never heard of it before!
They aren't good smells either, its things like nail polish and fuel and varnish and turps and bleach and chlorine :hide: just the thought of it makes my throat tingle and I salivate!!! Obviously I dont go out of my way to sniff petrol and I sure as hell ain't drinking any of them, I guess I just need someone to tell me im not a complete nut case like my DH seems to think I am

I know there are certain smells I am more drawn to when I am heavily pregnant and I seem to be able to smell them without being anywhere near the smell if that makes sense?

The current smell I love is my horses (though thats not too unusual) and while I have recently shifted them closer to the house I can walk through the house and smell them like they are just there.

I had a thing for my floor cleaner :lol: Oh and bleach was good too well probably not TOO good for me but i would clean just so i could smell them. i thought it was part of my nesting because i was CRAZY with mine.

I craved the smells of coffee and sunscreen when I was pregnant with DS2. I don't like coffee at all so it was rather strange for me. Smell cravings are actually very common.

I am loving the smell of that apple pinoclean - I actually went out of my way to buy some even though we had another brand full in the cupboard. It just smells so clean! Lol

I've also had weird cravings to smell cigarette smoke. I used to smoke before I had DD and have hardly craved it at all since - now suddenly I'm trying to sniff it when I walk past people smoking. It's made me realise how little smokers are around lately - there aren't many on the streets or outside shopping centres at all.

I don't think your crazy at all lol coz otherwise I too!
