**TMI** Blood Loss after C/S

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to ask, when did your blood loss stop after C/S? Mine seemd to all but stop after the second week, and then suddenly this morning, I was bleeding again. It was not bright red I dont think but it was pink/dark red, and there was enough for it to be down my thighs a bit as I was not wearing a pad :S Sorry TMI

My belly around the area where the uterus is, is a bit tender again which I hadn't really noticed since the 2nd week either, I haven't been on any pain meds other than pandaol since the 2nd week, and the only heavy thing I've been carrying around is bubs. I have left a message for my OB to call me about it but thought I would ask here too.

Could it be my period returning? It has only been 3 weeks today since bubs was born, but my body was always regulard like clock work. We have had to comp feed to due to BF issues for the last 3 weeks and I've read that can accelerate it's return.

Since cleaning myself up and putting on a pad I have only had a bit of bleeding and it is pink/dark red too. There are no clots.

Mine kept going for about 5 weeks. And at times heavy enough that I thought something was wrong. It would lighten up then come back heavy then lighten off again. Can't hurt to check with your doc if you're worried though

I bled for 2 weeks, then stopped for a day then another week, stop for a day and so on.
I bled for 7 weeks in total.
It was a nightmare, lol. I didn't think it was going to stop!!
