Cow's milk on cereal?
I can't remember what I did with DD1!
When can I put cow's milk on some porridge for DD2 for brekky? Do I wait til after 1 for that or is that only for if it's their only milk? DD2 is breastfed.
I have expressed a few times to give her porridge but I really can't be bothered. Would it be bad for her to have cows milk? I have not given her any so far. The only dairy she has is yoghurt.

I think you can introduce dairy from about 9 months? Everyone has a different opinion really (no surprise there) lol I never added milk to oats anyway. I put in stuff like coconut cream, cooked apple or pear or organic dark grape juice if I needed something, otherwise I just used water.

Both my DD's started on cow milk on their breakfast from 9 months. The first few times I watered it down a little then they just got it normal.

Ds has had cows milk on weetbix or oats for at least 2 months, so from 6 months. He was already eating yogurt. I didn't even think about it tbh...oops!

DD has had cow's milk on her cereal from 6 months. She doesn't have cereal every day though, so it's only a few times a week. With BLS, I think it says to treat it as any other food, not a drink iykwim?

We did BLS and used cows milk on cereal here too from the very start, but I usually added a bit of hot water to warm it up a bit so I guess it was the watered down version.

From what I remember milk added to/in food is fine from 6 months old. It just shouldn't be given as a drink until 12 months. I think it's more about the quantity than anything else.

Thanks guys!
I think I'll give her porrige a couple of times a week now and see how it goes :)
