After many years since I graduated, I'd like to study some refresher subjects in creative writing to get back into the groove, learn some new creative techniques and share the creative process with other students and tutors.
I already have the degree so I don't want to sign up for an entire course, I'd just like to study subjects that interest me.
Is that possible? How would I go about it? Could I still get hecs ?

I think to get HECS you have to sign up for an entire course.
I have seen Uni's offer things like summer courses in individual subjects though as well. I think you pay for them.
Could you do a post grad in your course instead??
Like a masters?
Is there a time limit for studying postgrad after the completion of a course? It has been over 10 years since I graduated.

Yeah Masters - or dip ed I suppose? I wouldn't think there would be a time limit - your degree is your degree!! I would contact a few uni's or look on their websites and see what they offer. Masters in your chosen subjects would mean you could do what you love, gain another degree and improve job prospects as well. I have toyed with the idea of doing mine in education as well at some point, maybe when the kids start schooL!!
Are masters courses usually set subjects? How much would a stand alone subject cost?
I suppose I should look at tafe or maybe a community college if there is one around here.

I have no idea on set subjects - from memory for me to do my Masters in Ed over 2 years was going to be something like $6000 as a Commonwealth supported place and $15k for full fee paying (OS students?) That could be way off because I am tired and need to go to bed, but might be worth having a look on the website of the different uni's around, most list how much they are for different course.
