mid cycle spotting..

On Monday (so today is day 3) i started spotting and cramping (AF wasnt due for 2 weeks) it started as just pinky mucus and then sort ofwent from pinkish blood, to pinky mucus (all very much TMI i know.. and i am sorry lol) the cramping was really only on the first day, and every now and then ill get a random cramp..
Can anyone tell me what this could be? i realise i should prob take myself off to the Dr but its so closeto christmas and with work and christmas shopping and DD i just cant find time..

Was it too heavy to be ovulation spotting?

ive never had ovulation spotting.. (ive never had a midcycle bleed) according to dates and sight (itms) i ovulated thurs/fri.. thats too late for ovulation spotting? and it wouldnt go for a few days would it??

I don't get regular ovulation spotting... it's supposed to be very fertile though. The only other thing I can suggest is a low progesterone bleed? Sometimes bleeding is for no known reason, I hope someone more knowledgeable comes along soon :).

hmm, but so late in the cycle? when i had all the regular ovulation signs? i hope its for no know reason :( im starting to freak out a little.. i feel really bloated and full/heavy feeling.. maybe if its still goin on after christmas ill go to the dr...

I know when TTC#2 I occasionally had spotting for no known reason. It sucks but it happens. :hug:
