BFP 9 days after transfer?

Hi ladies,

So.... The plan was to not test until my blood test on Friday...that was until my eyes started wandering in the beauty section at Coles, and yes, I bought myself an early detection hpt! Not thinking too much into it, I tested the second i got home and got a very strong positive result. My first thought went something along the lines of "crumbs, what do I do with this little bit of information now". I'm on progesterone pessaries twice daily, could these cause a false positive? Or... Could I, could I actually (I can't believe I'm saying this) ... Be pregnant? Eeep!!

Progesterone can't cause a false positive, but your trigger injection can (have you had triggers during the TWW?). However if it is very strong I doubt it is the trigger ;).

I had a trigger on the 16th Dec, a day before my egg collection.

Have you had any other support (other than progesterone)?

I've been taking only progesterone since the transfer which was on the 19th Dec.

It's tough not knowing anyone who has gone through ivf, I've had no idea what to expect the whole way through.

I did another test this morning and it was a strong positive!
