Best double pump???

Whats the best double pump out thats under $400? Why is it good?

Not sure there is one. What are your circumstances? a single pump like the swing might serve your purposes or you might need to spend a bit more and get a freestyle. If it's not up to the job, it doesn't matter if it's a double.

Long story short.. Breastfed bub, low supply, lactose intolerant bub, bub not gaining weight, bub very upset for about 4 weeks (refused to feed when she was upset), started giving LF formula top ups (ugh :( ) this week, breast refusal (still wont feed from breast while upset.. but 50% of the day, she wont latch at all), need to find another avenue, thinking EBM fulltime? Need to find a pump that will save me time pumping. I currently have an Avent IQ.

Depends how long you want one. You can hire a double Medea symphony for around $120 per month. Otherwise a Medela freestyle is your best bet. New they are around $700 but eBay might be cheaper.

I think it's a bit cheaper than that if you are an ABA member. It is worth joining up if you want to hire one through them.

Oh, you need a knowledgeable Lc ASAP. This is a very tricky situation and there's probably more to it than meets the eye. There is a way through it. *Lactose intolerance* in a young baby is almost always secondary to cows milk protein intolerance - which is the real issue. Babies are not designed to be lactose intolerant. You can PM me if you like.

I was EE and used an Ameda Purely yours, cost me $300 new on eBay. I did burn the motor out but I was pumping a LOT, and for long stretches of time. Apart from that I found it pretty good.

ETA - and, agree - really good idea to see an LC before you give up on BF altogether. I totally understand that EE might seem more attractive than the struggle you are facing atm, but it's hard yards. Get some good advice before you committ to that route :hug:

I got my medela freestyle off e bay for $500.. It's worth it. Hope you don't need to EE though.. Fleur is right, it's hard.
