Dropped??

Ok... Over the past few days I have had 4 people tell me that I have 'dropped'... even my husband.

This is freaking me out a little, it's too early to have this baby...

What does it mean... Please help!

Would be interested in seeing how long it took bubs to arrive after people noticeing that you'd 'dropped'

Mel, I don't remember exactly when, but I dropped early with DS, I think it was 32 weeks. Jack arrived 2 days late, so about 8 weeks or so. I think if they drop early it eases some discomforts like reflux, but increases bladder and pelvis pressure so you can't win!! I think once the bub is head down they rarely move, so at least you don't have to worry about it being breech.

I am around the same time and I keep getting told how low it is getting... I think I have carried low the whole time as It never really got up in my rib cage and have had no indegestion etc as it has sat low..... I think it all depends where the baby sits etc????
