post surgery questions
so i am now home after surgery yesterday..i had laparoscopy, hysterosocopy,ovarian drilling and a dye test...folllow up appt in 6 weeks so fingers crossed to see where we go from here i am not sure....thougths anyone???
who has had this surgery??
how long does it take for pain to go away??
how long after were you preggers???

I had lap, dye & hyst & d&c, in sept 2010.... took about a week to feel totally normal, but the pain went away a bit sooner than that, I was just tender for about the week I think.
still not preg - but hey - i didn't have ovarian drilling, my test was invesgative, so that doesn't mean you won't be :) FX

I have read about ovarian drilling and the stats are something like 30-40 per cent of women are pregnant within six months.
I have not had it done but I have had a D&C and a Hysterosalpingogram/dye test. Not pregnant yet :(
After the D&C, I was sore for four days or so.

thanks guys i am really praying i will feel better by sat sdo that is 4 days later as i have a hens night so fingers crossed and those odds sound good the specialist did say the ovarian drilling is usually a positive step.....fingers crossed

Afte my first lap I was back at work by the end of the week, but with the second one I had, it was close to 3 weeks before I was back to normal again. The shoulder tip pain was the killer the second time around in the first few days afterwards though and I found laying down really helped with it. Fingers crossed you are pg very very soon :hug:
