Education Tax rebate

Can I claim this?
I recieve FTB a/b and am studying?? Or does this only go up to secondary students?

you have to qualify for ftba for the person you're claiming for, and you wouldn't be getting ftba for you, just your kids....

having said that, there may be student things you can claim - you'd have to check with the ATO for sure - my initial answer was specific to education tax rebate

i guess i was thinking my computer and the student kit i had to purchase...

you'd have to check if adult students can claim - i don't know if there is anything there - i only got (very brief) training on the ETR.

We've been told at uni that we can't claim for our own expenses unless we are studying to improve our current career, in which case it is a work expense.
