What are your formula tips for home and travel? Any items that make it easier? Do you take a thermos or keep cool?

Most of the time when out I'd have the cooled water measured in the bottle and the formula measured out too then just heat the bottle where ever I was. At home the bottles again would have the cooled water measured ready for the next day and I'd just heat in the microwave or jug then add the forua from the tin.
When we went out, I used to take a thermos of HOT water and some cooled boiled water so that I could mix it to the right temp. But my daughter was fussy and wouldn't drink a cold milk bottle, it had to be warmed up. If you can, give bub milk at room temp and get them used to it, it's so much easier! At home I had a bottle warmer, awesome for night feeds, I would have a few bottles ready made in the fridge for overnight and the bottle warmer on, ready for the bottles, and just top the water up (so it didn't dry out) in the warmer whenever we were up through the night.
I plan for when I think bub will need a bottle. So if we are going shopping for instance, I feed bub before we leave and then make up a new bottle with boiling water and put it in an insulated bottle holder. By the time 3-4 hours have passed and bub is ready to feed again, the bottle has cooled to about the right temperature.
I started giving bub room temp bottles and it made life so much easier!! I'd boil the water at night and fill the bottles for the night and next day. Then when I went out I just took a small container with formula measured out and a bottle and mixed and fed. I never warmed the bottles and bub never complained. Some of my friends though couldn't feed their bubs unless it was warm as they wouldn't take it.
