Not sure about your first question but if they are in a government funded day kinder program IN a day care then yes you should still get the discount, if it's not a govt funded program then you don't get it.
Spoke to them today and they said yes it was government recognized but no discount what's with that??
Is it the same as the Qld kindy program? I know that 4 year olds in a govt approved program in Qld get $400ish dollars per year in a centre that families receive CCB and it's something like $1700ish per year in a centre where families don't receive CCB. I would imagine that would have to apply to both children if there are twins.
Do you pay a surcharge for the kinder aspect? Or is it inclusive in the CC fees?
Oh I misread your post sorry. I meant the discount that is built in. All 4 year old kinder is subsidised within each centre fees and then the fees charged to parents are worked out depending on the hours they attend etc. the minimum a week is 10 and up to 15 a week. My DD will be going for 12 hrs for e.g.. As for the twins I am not sure - thing is they both have a place within the kinder program so it might just be that you have to pay full fees for both?
How did you go hun?? I was just just reading some stuff for our kinder and noticed that we pay $180 per term which is subsided already. The term fees are then $180 and for twins the second twin pays $135 which is 25% off. Not sure if that helps or not seeing as yours is at a day care place. xoxo
I weighed up the pros and cons and think I will be leaving them in cc. I work and study and even though it will cost more the convenience of it far outweighs the cost. It will only be one year then off to school!!
Glad you have worked it out hun  So tricky trying to juggle everything!!
