I dont know if this is the right place to post.
My DD is just over a week old and I've noticed that her skin is peeling on her tummy, arms, legs and hands. Is it normal?
TIA

Totally normal! :D Some people put moisturiser on it, some people olive oil, but I think I just let it peel naturally most of the time or used some natural stuff like Moo Goo.
Yes very normal. You could add some olive oil to her bath, or just let it clear over time.
Dd was born at 38 weeks and with lots of vernix so her skin was much better than ds who was born at 40 weeks and no vernix.
Thanks ladies was a bit worried.
Yep, DS's did this too - he was born at 41+2 and was a little wrinkly and peely when he came out, then peeled a fair bit once he was out. I just left it alone and it cleared up after about 2-3 weeks.
Yep, totally normal. I used olive oil on my DS. :)
Totally normal, we told our DS he was losing his lizard skin! There's an extra cute baby underneath :)
Very normal indeed, and it sounds like you're doing a wonderful job as a new mum :)
My DS flaked a lot more than DD ever did, and I found that a neutral sorbolene creme kept his skin hydrated and allowed that skin to still flake away still naturally.
All the best xx
yep, normal. I freaked out too and it seemed to go on peeling for weeks! My DD was born at 38 weeks so thought she wouldn't peel as had heaps of vernix but she still peeled!!
Thank you all.
