Toilet visits
I occasionally get an irritated bowel where tummy churns and I have to pass loose bowels? Usually goes away in less than a day (I.e. I'll get it during the day but it's gone by bedtime). Tonight has been different. Went by bedtime but woke 3 hrs later and I've spent the last 1 1/4 hrs on and off the loo, always having to do no2 very loose and just a little bit and my guts have been churning quite a bit of the time and now my bum is sore (doesn't appear to be any blood on the loo paper).
Bubs has been kicking frequently during this time as well so I know she/he is fine BUT I'm tired and I have to teach yr 12s in the morning and I want to go to bed :(.
Is there anything I can take to settle my tummy down if it's not calmed down in the morning - I'm not sure that taking a panadol will work ATM.
I've currently been sitting in an ice pack between loo visits which has helped numb my bum but not my tummy. If Bubs wasn't present I'd probably have another icepack on my tummy to try to calm it down but don't know that that will work with Bubs there and I'm not needing to make bubs move.

A hot pack on the tummy - like a wheat bag - will help the pain, lots of water, and I would try isolating what is causing it. Coffee and dairy did it for me while pregnant, and avoid those foods.
Short term, not sure there is anything you can take, panadol won't help a tummy ache at all, will probably just make it worse. Not sure if you can take Tumms while pregnant? Maybe call Nurse On Call and ask. Failing that, the best natural remedy for diarrohea is strawberry juice.
Sipping peppermint tea will help too with the pain. xxx

Typical as soon as I post, it starts to settle down
I haven't been eating much in the past couple of days as I haven't been interested in food (it's been make myself eat:()
DS has put my wheat pack somewhere so haven't been able to grab that tonight - will definitely look for that tomorrow.
Im just glad it seems to have calmed down (icepack shifted to lower back seems to have helped as well) there's only so much solitaire one can play on the phone at 1 in the morning while waiting to see if it's toilet time or sleep time.
