Shut. The. Hell. Up.
If I read one more post on Facebook about how awful pregnancy and how you wish it would end I am going to lose the plot.
Do you realise how lucky you are to be pregnant? You are growing a little person in there! Oh you have a sore back? He kicks you too much? Shut the **** up.
Do you think you would whinge any less if you knew what I have endured over the last year? Probably only for a little while.
I'm so peeved I can't even put my vent into words!!
I've gone to buy some stuff to make my daughters room more for a little girl rather than a baby. Which means packing up the cot to make more room.
I thought I was ok to do this. Until I went to do it.
There was supposed to be a baby in there next month. And one three months after that.
I'm so annoyed that all this had cropped up again. Ive been in such a good headspace for the last couple of months.

I agree... I use to get Facebook rage over that too. Until I just made it so I don't see their ungrateful posts.
Hugs ... I'm sorry you don't have your babies :(

I have deleted the main culprit. Don't really know why I have her there in the first place.
We've decided to have a little rest until DDs bday in March from trying.
1- because we have a seasonal business and if I was to fall over the next couple months it would be awful timing for birth and birthdays for years to come.
2- because I am going to focus on myself and my health for a few months. Get healthy for my family and spend a lot of time together.
Then fresh go in march. I have no doubt that we will have another. Just people are such idiots at times

Grrr! People can be so thoughtless! You're right, I wish I could let them really realise how lucky they are!
I even mentally slap myself if I have a negative thought about pregnancy. I just have to think back to our struggle (which was nothing compared to some of the women on here) and it reminds me just how lucky I am.

Yes true. And I'm sure even theres some thinking to me - shut up! At least you have one child. Which is true again.
Thanks for listening xx

I often feel the same when reading posts about people moaning about their kids. I have a couple of people on facebook that are old friends that I don't see anymore that are very close to being deleted. Both of them constantly post about how horrible things are with their kids and how much they want a break, and things like offering the kids up free to a good home. That's ok if it's just a joke once in a while, but these two post things like that multiple times a day. And guess what...? They are both pregnant now too! If having kids is that horrible, why on earth are they going back for more? Drives me bananas!

Yes that annoys me too. And not just because I'm TTC but because it's wrong!
Someone posted something about can't wait Til school starts sick of kids blah blah and someone wrote - yeah I wish school went until bedtime. I asked if they were joking and they said no and got all defensive!! Wtf!!

I wrote something very similar to this not long ago. I feel your pain.

I have a friend who whinges all the time about her kids, drives me crazy! Of course she never struggled when TTC, fell PG 1st try both times. I guess you appreciate it all the more when you have struggled to have children.

Aww Hun that sucks. I too cannot stand the moaners. They always seem to be the ones who get pg with unplanned babies at the drop of a hat too. Sigh.
-
I have to admit, I've made a few unwise comments on posts like that. I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time. It sounds entirely understandable that packing up the cot would bring up all those feelings. I'm sure I'll feel the same way when we move DD out of hers. I hope tomorrow is an easier day for you.

Agree!!!
I have soooo many friends on facebook who are constantly complaining about their kids! One in particular is supposed to be a good friend and knows something of what we have been going through. She has a 10 year old and is always celebrating when she is "kid free". And now...she is expecting no. 2. She is 36 weeks as she reminded everyone on Facebook today. She has about 4-5 posts everyday about the burden of being a parent or being pg. One time when she was complaining about her 10 yr old I wrote her a pm expressing how lucky she was and to cherish every moment with her DD. Alas, she didn't take the hint! She even invited me to her baby shower for baby no. 2. Again I messaged her saying I would not be able to make it due to the emotional turmoil I would be in and she still keeps up with her 4-5 posts /day!!!
As I said to OP the other day...people are so thoughtless! I don't understand it! Maybe it is because of what I have been through recently. Like Lila said, I think we do appreciate children more when it is a struggle. You realise how much of a blessing and miracle they really are. DH and I haven't even been able to have one Earthly baby yet! But we know how much of a blessing they will be when the miracle happens for us.
Hoping all our posts have helped you feel a little encouraged! I value everyones comments, vents, stories! Honestly, don't know what I would do if I didn't know there were others who were going through similar things and feeling such strong emotions.

Thanks beautiful ladies. Was having such a sucky day. My dd was actually an unplanned pregnancy and I now realise what a miracle she was now that it is not so easy when I'm physically TTC :)
I'm ok at the moment but end of next month when my first m/c baby was supposed to be born will be hard. I'm just going to concentrate on giving my amazing dd a fabulous 2nd birthday on the 14th.
She's such a beautiful little person. I am truly blessed to have her xx. Hope you are all doing great xx
