I would really like some insight on how your life changed when you had your 3rd child. I currently have 2 but we really want 3. I'm nervous though because 2 is a lot but 3 seems almost unmanageable. Any insight would be appreciated.

Ohhh, a happy big family. I don't how they change the life but i think it's amazing, at least I think so because I am expecting to have a child so much. Sometimes naughty kids may drive you mad but anyway they are cute and young and bring you happiness.
Going from 2-3 was the easiest transition for me - and that was 3 under 3 years.
It was 3-4 that I found changed everything the most and was the hardest.
I say go for it!
Having bub #3 really wasn't all that dramatic for us. I did say in the early days, "You think having two is busy, wait until you have #3!" lol, but it calmed down once she wasn't a newborn any more. Yes, life is busy with three, but you get used to it and I like being busy anyway ;). The extra person to love and cuddle makes it totally worthwhile :D
It's busy, it's constant but it's all so worth it. Like Trish said the newborn stage, settling in and getting to know you bub can be a bit of a challenge with a busy household to run but once that settles and you get your rhythm it's great. I would love to have one more but i'm not sure if i could handle being too much busier :)

Seriously, bub number three just slotted in easily. I found it sooo easy, but he was a happy baby, and my pregnancy had been so hard, that anything would have been easy in comparision to having two kids and being pregnant.
Our twins are 15w2d old do we've just gone from 2 to 4 (the oldest being 4.5yrs) personally I think the biggest transitions are firstly going from no children to one but then for me the biggest change was going from 1 to 2 children and learning how to handle multiple children, afte rthe second i think its just more of the same (handling multiple children) I think go for it, your capacity grows as your family does!
I absolutely love having 3 kids (4.5, 2.5 & bub). My latest gorgeous addition is 8 weeks old so I'm still finding my feet and getting our routine. I am so much busier with 3 than 2 but I am so much more organised it's crazy. Our babe has just slotted in and I have found this transition the easiest.
I was really struggling with my two kids but somehow #3 has knitted my beautiful family together and I am absolutley loving it!!!

Three is a lovely number, I agree the third just does seem to slot in and the two elder kids love them too bits. It's great...I found going from none to 1 extremely hard and then 1 to 2 was a bit of a challenge but with no.3 you know how to prioritise, organise and all the rest. It's great!
I found going from 1-2 was the hardest number 3 was a walk in the park, but there was a bigger gap which I think helped. Im hoping number 4 is just as easy ;)
I found going from 1-2 quite hard mainly because I have a six yr age gap and plus he's a terror no. 1 & 2 hehe, but going to three has been a breeze she has slotted in so easily i can't believe it and she is an absolute delight to be around. If I could have 10 babies like her I would.

I found going from 2-3 easy as there was a 4 year gap, also DS2 was an easygoing baby.
It will be interesting to see if going from 3-4 will be as easy for us. But then again my 2 eldest are at school most of the time.

I agree the first few weeks adjusting to a new bub is tricky. I think ive found bub 3 the hardest due to a big age gap,that being said they all have big gaps but im getting older so third time round i found it hard to go from being able.to sleep in and have a nap or go out while they were at school to not being able to the hardest. But once i adjusted it was easy and im loving every moment now so much so were planning no 4

I keep running into "helpful" advice telling me that 3rd labours are harder and 3rd babies are difficult so it is really great to read this thread.. as I am 25 weeks pregnant with my third there is no going back! My boys are so excited- there will be a 4 year gap so I think it will be good!
For me I wouldn't say it was any harder, it was just adjusting to each new addition. The house is a lot noisier, I'm ready for bed by about 8.00p.m but wouldn't change a thing.

going from 2-3 was easy. i was worried it would be hard but it wasn't! my other 2 boys would play together while i nursed the baby or whatever i had to do.
