Beef Mince, how long in the fridge?

I defrosted a packet of mince in a sink of lukewarm water on Friday night. It was completely thawed by the time i got home after an hour or so and was probably at room temp. I was going straight out so didn't use it and put it back in the fridge. Our fridge is fantastic and stuff keeps in there for ages, but what about the mince for tonight? It's been in the fridge since Friday night and I'm a bit unsure now, only because it was at room temp on Friday.

So WDYT?

Beef will usually smell nd go a bit grey if it's off.

Probably. If I defrost I usually use it same day, or the next at a stretch.

For the sake of $5-10, it's better to be safe than vomitty ;)

yeah, id toss it. I'm a bit funny with meat though. I would only have used it that day, the next morning at the absolute most. sounds like you've got your answer already though.:)

Tossed. Feel better already. Although it was 'premium' beef mince :( LOL

Ide toss it as it wasnt defrosted in the fridge.
