Looking for some new dinner ideas and recipes for my 10month old.
Preferably some things I can freeze, to make it easier for DH when I'm away for work.
At the moment he is loving meatballs and penne pasta.
I'm after things he can feed himself, he's not into being fed purée and mashed food, unless it's with yoghurt for breaky!

What do you eat? My 11 month old just has what we are having (and has since 6 months)
It might be a bit hard to feed himself (well, without a huge mess anyway), but at that age DD LOVED a mixture of veggies, meat (e.g. chicken) and cous cous (you can make huge batches and freeze). Since around 11 months we've just fed her what we eat. She doesn't even mind a bit of spice!
Yep, normally it's ok, but when I'm away for work DH, often has something quick and inappropriate, and for the days we are treating ourselves to take out, or not eating so healthy.:

To compensate for days like this, we sometimes cook a bit extra of other meals that DD does eat and freeze some of the extra. It's also helpful when I get home from work too late to cook her a 'fresh' dinner, I just defrost something from the freezer.:
