Present ideas for 5 yo godson

Help! I totally forgot my own godson's birthday last week (well, I knew it was coming up and got the wrapping paper and card, but then I got sick and forgot the present). Usually his mum is a huge help in giving pressie ideas but it's too late to ask her now as it makes me look even slacker than I already am, iykwim! :redface:

So, DGS is a typical, boisterous 5 yo. He likes trucks but has ooooooodles of them, so I was thinking of something a bit different. It has to be something I can post. What do 5yo's like?

Oooh, maybe some kind of craft/glider/hobby kit would be good....he's got a 9yo brother to help.

And that's reminded me that the National Geographic shop has good stuff. Not cheap, but it might give me other ideas! :)

My 5yo loves board games. In particular the kids monopoly and the lego ones.
