ssangyong stavic. Who drives one or knows any good/bad.

My landcruiser is just to costy on fuel to keep using it as an everyday car, i absolutly love it and love the 4x4 abilitlys, but im going to buy a second car for everyday trips.

Im leaning towards ssangyong Stavic.
I dont like delica,tarrago or carnival, they look to ugly! (sorry if you love yours but ....)
The other i quite like is the hyundi people mover, but as a second car, they are a bit expensive!
Im looking at years 2007-2009 price rangeish.

Hi, sorry, don't drive one or know of anyone that has one. Personally, I'm not keen on the styling. But, if you do want one, look into how much replacement parts are for it (ebay is not a bad place to start), and make sure your local mechanic will work on it (not all mechanics like to work on 'unusual' make cars), check the costs of general servicing and mainenance, always take into account brake pads, servicing, auto transmission service, windscreen replacement, etc Because these can far out weigh owning a 'cheaper' vehicle, compared to a run of the mill people carrier. Another vehicle worth checking out is the Nissan El Grande (a 'grey import', but uses 'standard' Nissan parts and engine, not a challenge for servicing). Good luck! :)
