Is this normal?
They say that each pregnancy becomes more painful with the stretching and BH come earlier but when should i start to worry and get checked out?
I've been having BH and tightenings for a few weeks now, they just came every so often and usually at night. But today they are quite regular and quite painful. They are in my belly as well as my back is cramping.
I did have some green blobby mucus the last few days that resembled my plug with DD.
I'm a bit sore 'down there' and it feels weird.
I just don't want to rush off to the hospital if its normal.

I know it's a pain, but you need to go get checked out. My OB said as soon as they become painful (even if they are irregular) you need to get checked out.
Especially if you have lost something resembling a plug.
Sounds very concerning, honey.
Please go get checked.
Message me if you need to.

Definitely worth getting it checked out. Can you call the hospital and speak to the midwives?

I'd ring your care provider and ask them what they think about it all, but it could be likely that you have an irritable uterus

I have a septate uterus which i didn't know with DD but it explained everything from early BH, then painful BH and then pre labour as the bigger she got my uterus couldn't stretch properly so thats why my waters broke spontanteneously (sp?) at 38 weeks.
I rang my mum and talked to her, she told me to have a sleep and relax, not to pick up DD if i didn't have to and take it easy. She finishes work at 6 so if by then im still having them or anything else happens or even if i feel unsure she will take me in to get checked.
