Had a massive craving so made it last night. The custard did'nt really set well, even after in the fridge, its 'flat'.
Anyone know the secret to getting the custard firm? Thanks.

How did you make the custard? Real stuff or packet mix?
Depending on the recipe, add more cornflour or more eggs.
Lions - was a recipe but using vanilla custard powder.
It was tricky cos it said 7.5 ounces.
Didn't even understand the conversion. I think I put a few teaspoonfuls in the milk.
An ounce is roughly 30g, which is going to be about 1-2 Tbsp... no wonder it wasn't quite right!
Next time you don't know a conversion, google conversion tables - you put in the what the recipe says, eg, 7.5 oz, and ask for the measure you want it in, eg grams, and it will give you the correct number.
