Today we are attending a very dear friend of ours funeral who passed from cancer last weekend.
I cant get a babysitter so 3 of the kids will be there (ages 3.5 and the twins 10.5 months) how do i occupy them at a service like this?

My DD was 10 months when my nan died. I sat with her in my lap and she looked at books and photos on my phone when she got restless. My niece is a little bit older and my brother did the same thing.

i would sit at the back so i could take the kids out if necessary. food, books, quiet toys, bribery... whatever works.
can you go with your DH or a friend? at my Oma's funeral DH sat with DD behind me (i was in the front row for family). DD walked up and down the aisle or right at the back of the service room and when she got a bit grumpy she went out for some fresh air (which can be a good idea if they seem to be getting overwhelmed by the solemnity ITMS).
We attended a funeral when my niece & nephew were similar ages - 18mo & just turned 3. They sat between their parents and had colouring in books. Both of them seemed to realise that they needed to be quiet and were very well behaved. For the younger ones, a few board books to look at might keep them occupied long enough for the service.

I took my kids to my great Aunts funeral last year. I had to take DS outside coz he was bored. I really wanted to stay in there, but I couldn't :(
Ours was at a church in a school though, so we just went over to the play ground. The girls stayed with mum & dad & were fine. (Easier when they're older).
DH is coming with me, its outside so hopefully the kids wont be too bad, DD2 will be fine the boys im worried about as its raining i cant let them out of the pram and they get quickly bored in there no matter how many toys

Some funeral parlours have tv screens in the foyer or in another room, if the kids got restless you could always take them in there and still be able to see what's going on while they play.
