Low blood sugar and general unwell feeling
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light or had a simlilar situation? I am hungry all the time during this pg and have a general unwell feeling (not m/s or naursea, just generally unwell). I find I feel better if I eat regularly, like hourly but also am suffering from low blood sugar. I nearly passed out today at lunch. I usually eat at 12 but got caught in a meeting and didn't end up eating until close to 1pm, my last snack was a banana at about 11. I am a little concerned b/c last pg I suffered from GD and I fear I am headed down the same track already (I don't recall feeling like this last pg, although it was over 5 years ago). I am thinking of going to a dietician to help me plan what I should be eating - do you think that is a good idea? I was following the MB12WBT before I fell pg (not strictly) and I ate between 1200-1500 cals per day & exercised regularly, so I know that I am definately eating alot more calories than I was just a month ago... ATM I've stopped all exercise (except yoga) due to my recurrent m/c's and tried listening to my body what it wanted me to eat but I feel terribly unwell and are unable to sometimes decide what to eat. Should I go to the GP and get a referral or can I go direct to a dietician? I don't think the hosptial I am going to offers any pg diet advice (I couldn't find it on their website) however I have an pre-natal app in a months time.
