When someone comes in with heart palpitations and light headedness, it's probably NOT a good idea to send your best looking doctor to her. Seriously, the blonde hair, green eyes, awesome British accent and too big scrubs that kept showing his rock hard abs? Didn't help the palpitations.
On the other hand, the 6 hour wait to find out nothing was wrong was made a little easier by having something so awesome to look at ;)
Ha ha. I had the same sort of experience, fortunately from the chair next to the bed, when I had to take a friend to emergency a couple of years ago. All she can remember of the experience is me saying how gorgeous her doctor was. He was English too - I'm a sucker for a man with an accent. For some reason she wasn't as pleased as me that he took forever to get her IV in because her veins had collapsed.

Yeah I'm fine, I didn't think there was anything wrong but I had this weird fluttery feeling in my chest for a couple of hours, and then it started getting harder to breathe and my chest was getting tight and heavy, so I thought it best to go to the hospital. They took it seriously too, took me straight from the triage nurse to a bed, in a wheelchair even though I could walk. They did about 17 ECG traces, but I had to wait until 6 hours after the feelings started for them to be able to pick up anything in my blood. There was nothing there though, so they have no idea what it was.
On the other hand, if you want a woman in labour to do everything you ask, DO send in the good looking obstetrician with an Irish accent :p

Ha, nothing like a good looking Dr or nurse to make emergency interesting.
Keike, my DH had those symptoms and they couldn't find anything wrong. Had stress tests etc and in the end it was a reflux problem.
Have you had a gastroscopy to rule that out? Turned out his was heredity but the other members of his family forgot to tell him
All chest pain is to be considered cardiac until proven otherwise ;-D
