gender curiosity in a 5 year old

i wasnt sure where to put this thread as it fits in a few different places i have chose here as im hoping to educate appropriately.

I have a 5 year old foster child who has been with me 18 mths and he has started to become very curious of the opposite sex. He is aboriginal and from what ive seen over the last 6 mths is that he interested in knowing if dark skin people have the same "bits" as white skin people. i dont think he has ever showered or bathed with an adult as he has been in care for most of his short life. i want to teach him that he can be curious and but he can not continue walking in on older children or adults while in the shower.

does anybody know any age appropriate resources that has all different races and skin tones so he can be curious and investigate and learn but without invading other peoples privacy. i do have anatomically correct dolls and he does know the difference between boy and girls. im looking for books or images that we can use to discuss differences.

There is a book in Queensland called 'Everyones got a bottom' it makes children aware of their body parts using correct names and it also talks about how to keep them private, hope this helps

thank you ill head to the library and see if they have a copy.
