Timing of Arrival of Period

Hi All,

Just a question for anyone saavy with this kinda thing...

If I get my period at say 8pm on CD27, should I class it as a 27 day cycle because of the of the time that I started to bleed?

My follicular phase is 14 days but the leutal phase seems to be 13 days.

I'm not temping just watching CM changes and charting.

during ivf cycles i was always told to count cd1 on the first day in which you have full flow by 6pm - so for you, if your bleed starts at 8one night, the next day would be cd1

i guess the main thing is to make sure you're consistent - so make a rule for you (6pm, 8pm, whatever) and stick to it

Yeah, I would say 27 days.

In IVF Land ("The Unhappiest Place on Earth") you count cycle day one only if you bleed before lunchtime. So it makes sense at the other end of the cycle iykwim.

Yep, midday cut off here too.

So if you started a bleed at 8pm on CD27, the next day is CD1.

Ok cool.

So just to clarify, I am having a 27 day cycle?
