Overwhelmed by the mess [vent]
Two kids, DH & I seem to create a mountain of mess EVERY SINGLE DAY! It is driving me insane. Normally, I clean up a bit before going to bed. Last night, there was just so much, I couldn't face it. I sat down & watched TV for an hour instead. Admittedly, I folded some nappies & tidied the toys that were within arms reach while watching TV. When I finally got off my bum, I got 2 loads of washing off the airers (damn rain), folded them & put them away, made lunches & packed kindy bags. Then went to bed. This morning - the dishwasher needed unpacking, last nights dishes were still on the bench, the kids toys were all over the place, paperwork toys books etc all over every surface. I had to clean DD's high chair before I could give her breakfast. Not to mention all the clutter that has been building all over the house. With all 4 birthdays with 3 months, the clutter is reaching crises point. We have a small house with only one living area. The study is in the living area. We need to get it under control before I go insane and start throwing things. I have no time left. I need to sleep. DD & DS are more important. I need to exercise more, eat better blah blah blah. No time for any of it. DH seems to think he needs me IYKWIM. I cleaned the bathroom on the weekend for the first time since DD was born. DH has done it a couple of times. That makes me sound really dirty & gross and I HATE it! DD's room has piles of stuff everywhere. Clothes too small, clothes too big, nappies nappies & more nappies. Toys, stupid dust collectors that my mum got from like Crazy Clarks or something but seems to think should be an heirloom so I can't just toss them. Our room has a big box of stuff to be sold. I don't have time to put them on Ebay. Stuff for lifeline. Stuff for our king size bed we now won't be getting. DH's clothes NEVER make it into his drawer. Seriously the time it takes to move them from the bed to the floor, could be used putting them in the drawer but no. I refuse to put them away for him. At least DS's room is tidy. I think it's time to move to a bigger house so we can spread our crap out a bit more ;)
Anyway. Just a vent. Thanks for lending your ear.

Don't worry my house is the same and it's driving me nuts. It's making me not want to get up in the morning and face it....like groundhog day. Then I worry what will happen when bubs number three arrives anytime now and is demanding my attention! Aghhhh just wanted to let you know your not alone....
