How do we get her to stay in bed
Every night after putting her in bed DD (2 yrs) gets out with her blankets and camps at the gate on her door. She also does it during the day. No matter how many times we put her back she gets out. Normally DH puts her in bed around 930/10 when she's asleep and she stays there till morning. But last night I got home at 130 from work and she was there. Woke DH up to put her in as I cant physically lift her and she screamed out for me. Wouldn't let go for anything. Took me till 3am to escape the room. 5 mins later she's back screaming. DH managed to get her to bed in 15-20 min through being more firm then me but we know she went to the gate again and could hear her playing and being upset a little. We let her go though as she was only whimpering about not getting her way not hysterical like before
It's getting so cold now and we have a cold house to. When this first happened we though she was adjusting to her bed or that (because was summer) she was cooler there getting some A/C. I ended up with her in bed with me at 6 and she was so cold. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to put the cot rail up cause I can't get her in the bed then. Hoping as it gets colder she might stay put
