99% chance we're moving to Roma, QLD

So we're more than likely moving to Roma in the next 6-8 weeks!!

I'm so nervous, we thought he hadnt got the job and now there will be an official offer within the next two weeks.

Already have a quote for moving ($5-6k)

Already started packing.

The guilt trip has already started from mum.

I can't believe we have to drive 1000km's in my little car, in land out the middle of no where.

Roma has 6000 people!

The funniest part is after hearing nothing back about the job and being fed up with living in our current place we decided to move, looked at a place Friday morning, applied and DH said "I bet you we sign the lease and then get a call about an interstate job", Saturday afternoon we get a call about the Roma job! Very freaky. Luckily we could withdraw our application on the house.

I'm freaking out! We will be 8 and 12 hours away from family.

No point to my post, just had to get it all out because I feel like I'm going to explode from all the stuff swirling about my head!

Just a tip with the moving quote. Check with a local firm of where you are going, I found them much cheaper when we moved that the big names. We were quoted over $5k and the locals did it for less than $2k (we were only moving 3 hrs away though).

I have a local place coming Wednesday for a quote as well, the first one was the same company we did Brisbane-Sydney with.

The first box we packed was actually a box from when we moved from Townsville to Brisbane, I can't believe we're making another 1000km move. Guess you have to go where life takes you.

I am excited, we've come a looong way in the last 12 months but here still hasn't felt like "home", hoping Roma will end up being where we settle for at least the next 5-10 years!

Going to take the drive slow and see some stuff on the way, can't wait!
