What was your implantation bleed like?

And how long did it last?

I've been having what I'm beginning to think might be an implantation bleed for the past couple of days. I've had them before, both times were literally a small brown bit on the toilet paper a couple of times. This time I had a small brown bit of mucas on the toilet paper on Wednesday evening and assumed AF was coming and then nothing more until yesterday morning. Yesterday morning I again had a small brown-tinged amount of mucas (only when wiping). I then had it on and off when going to the bathroom yesterday (sometimes it was there, sometimes not). Today I have what looks like very small amounts of watery brown blood (again, only when I wipe).

Does this sound like implantation to you or a very slow lead up to AF? If AF hasn't shown up by early next week I'll test again, but just wanting to know thoughts/experience in the meantime.....

with my two experiences (DD1 and this pg) i had what i thought was the beginning of AF for 2-3 days. enough to warrant a panty-liner/pad. then it would fizzle out on the following day.

It sounds very similar to the implantation bleeding I had with DS. I had jumped the gun and tested early, got a negative and then had the bleeding which I thought was a crap, weird period. A few weeks later, I realised my 'gastro' was actually morning sickness. Good luck, I have my fingers crossed for you!

With DS1 mine was 8 dpo, and it was brown and not much - probably the size of a twenty cent piece. I noticed it on my knickers, but there was never any onthe toilet paper when i wiped. This was when i knew straight away that FET had worked.

With DS2, it was a natural cycle, and was 11 dpo, and i was waiting For AF as we were starting a stim cycle. There was a few bright red drops when i wiped and i thought it was AF. Same again the next day, bright red drops. Three days later i tested and was positive.

So to me, implantation bleed can be a variety of different Colours, doesnt have to be one colour, and can occur on a number of different days. Theres nothing to do but wait!!! J. Xoxo.

I didn't have implantation bleed, but if you don't usually get spotting before a period it sounds likely (or possibly later ovulation than you thought). When is your period due?

I have heard though that implantation bleed is often bright pink blood, as it is fresh.

AF could be due anytime now. This is my first month off the pill again. From what previous experience I have, my cycle is somewhere between 4-5 weeks. I'm currently at CD32. I think I'm currently around 14DPO.... So this started about 12DPO....

I know, but I last tested Wednesday (in the morning before the spotting started) and got a BFN. I wanted to wait a few days before trying again just in case I'm not quite 14DPO....I don't want another BFN :(

I just thought I'd update here (for anyone researching this in the future), that for me this wasn't an implantation bleed this time. It was just a very weird and long lead up to AF.

Feel free to keep posting your implantation bleed experiences here though, it might help other people in the future :)

HAHA! Chody - you must be psychic - this is actually helping me right now! LOL i'm just waiting for AF to either come at me or stay away....mine is a bit more than yours is though (more bleeding that is)

Just FYI mine was a one wipe bright almost fluro pink that I assumed was AF in a weird form. Then AF never came!

I didn't actually get it the month I posted this, but the month after. That month was a completely different bleed altogether....I had spotting for 4 days (all brown blood)!! Twice it seemed to get a bit heavier and I thought AF was definitely here.....apparently it wasn't...
