Advice: medications

So my transistion (kindy,prep) boy is ADHD and requires medication at. 1230 each day. We have had a really bad weekend and today dropped him at school, go to refill his pill box to find he didn't have his Friday tablet. :shakehead: this is not the first time, there was one week he had missed 3 dosages :shakehead: :shakehead: I was up there I spoke to the teacher, I spoke to the medication staff and mentioned it to the principal. What more can I do?? As he is a foster child I'm about ready to have children's department of foster care ring the school aswell.
The pediatrician has a letter that was given to the school with all the information as to why he needs it and when.

I'm so annoyed right now. It will take about 6-7 days for things to get back on track, it wrecks the sleep pattern and everything grrrr..


What can I do to ensure this doesn't happen again?

That's poor form from the school.

When I used to work as an integration aide, I was responsible for taking the children to the office to have their medication administered by the office staff.

Does he qualify for aide time? Could it be his/her job to remember?

Alternatively it's a PITA, but could you ring the office everyday at that time?
Hopefully it would only take a week of phone calls for them to get sick of you and suddenly remember!
