What's the payment for Family Tax Befit B when you scrape under the income threshold?

Hi there,

I am working out my roster for the next month and if I work the right hours I will qualify for Family Tax Benefit B
so I am wondering is it worth it ie: the mucking around with my shifts to come under the threshold.
So for argument sake if my annual taxable income for this financial year (ending 30 June 2012)is $24 900 (gross) what will my payment
rate for Family B work out to. (as a lump sum payment)
If its just a couple of dollars well I'll just do the usual shifts and overtime and not worry about it IYKWIM!

Oh yes DH earns under $150 000:lol: & we have 2 children under 5 years.

Doesn't it go on your combined annual income (ie. Not just income for a few months)???

You can go to the centre link website and do an estimator on there. Put in all your details u just stated and it will tell you!

On your estimate above I don't think you would get any part b fortnightly payment, as a lump sum. But may get the some of the supplement so maybe Around $350.

you might get a small portion of the supplement for part b - a very small portion of it
jump on the estimator online and it will tell you
i wouldn't be trying to lose out on work based on the part b amount you might get - maybe $5 of the ftbb supplement (the maximum amount is payable at around 4500 annually, and it reduces by about 20c in the dollar until it is at absolutely zero payment at $24912 (the 24912 amount is the cut off for any supplement - fortnightly payments cut off much lower rate)
