Tummy bug at 21w (TMI)
Any advice please..
Yesterday i woke up, was sick (nothing new there) but then had to run to the loo regularly all morning, risked popping out to do some stuff and started getting stomach cramps so bad they had me in tears in the car park... DH left work got a cab to where i was and drove me home, lots more trips to toilet, went to bed for the arvo still getting cramps but not so bad.
Still got the diarrhoea this morning.. DD1 mentioned runny poo when asked but had not complained about it DH and DD2 seem fine. So I'm assuming its some sort of bug.
Is there anything i can do to help? eat or not eat?
I just feel so weak and sorry for myself. DH could not stay home, so i'm here with the girls (dont want to send DD1 to school to pass it on) Ugh.. I have so much to do, but its a movie day i think.

Sorry to hear your not feelings the best, make sure you keep up all your fluids and if it keeps up I'd give your MW a call and let her know just in case she wants to do anything differently.
Try and forget all those things that need doing and enjoy a movie day with your girls... let the washing pile up, the dishes in the sink and don't even think about picking up any toys... movies all the way
Hope it passes quickly without causing too many problems

I had something similar at 12 weeks. Hydrolite and rest. If lasts more than 24 hours see a Dr.

I've just had a vicious tummy bug at 15 weeks. After 24 hours of having the squirts, only managed 2 wees despite over 3L of electrolyte drinks, and being too light headed to walk to the toilet on my own, I ended up in hospy on a drip.
So I've been told (home now) just to keep up the electrolytes, eat when i can, and I'm just sticking to simple carbs to try and plug things up a bit.
