Hi there,
We just had our third baby and it took me several phone calls to find an obs who supported VBA2C (Dr Fiona Cowell). She works out of St Vincents and Freemasons (not sure if she does Frances Perry). She works with 3 other women obs who also supported VBA2C. All lovely Dr's. I had a really good experience at St V's - the midwives were fantastic and we had a double room with DH staying with me. I ended up getting pre-eclampsia at 40 weeks, so didn't get to try VBAC again, but it was great being supported in my decision to try it again and not being forced into an elect caesar unnecessarily.
I've had an emergency and elective 8+ yrs ago all my doctors at casey hospital are very supportive about going natural this time,it was mostly their idea most of the large hospitals are willing to help u and give it a go it mainly depends on the facilities at the hospital if there is a risk to u and bubs
