yeah, this is for front carries, obviously :) Think it's more for younger babies, too.
i have been thinking about getting a little mirror for when DS falls asleep on my back, he is really quiet.
I have one of those HotI - love it. Clips easily onto the shoulder of my mei tai or my belt, and means I can see what he's up to - I usually use it to double check that whether or not he's fully asleep or still drifting before I try to do something like pull the hood up or sit down.
