Ever since my Egg collection almost a week ago, I have been battling terrible acid reflux.
Any suggestions on what I can take to get rid of it?
Has to be pregnancy friendly as I am PUPO

Do you like liquorice? Pac said it worked well for her...
Not sure what else hun apart from the fact that I love that you are PUPO :D :D :D
Thanks lovey!
Tried the licorice- worked for 5 minutes.
Just sent DH on a dash to the shops for something- anything at this stage!

fizzy drinks worked for me last time. sparkling mineral water... so did fruit tingles (lollies), gaviscon...
Milk????
Thanks- gaviscon is what I've just tried, so I'll let you know :-)
I had this late in DD's pregnancy and took Zantac which worked- but it's not recommended for pregnant ladies.
My MW told me they were ok, but I'm scared to risk it :(

I've been sucking down milk all day, which is great cause I've cut out caffeine- so gotta get my milk somewhere other than my latte!

I found chewing stevia leaves worked rally well when I was pg. hope you find something that works for you, it's so not nice!
Excuse my sucky spelling, I'm on my iPhone
I'm finding licorice works but only if you eat it after a meal. Same goes with milk. I'm taking Zantac, the 12 hourly one. OB said pharmacies won't recommend it but it's safe. Low fat milk doesn't cut it for me, only full cream.
Quick eze for when I'm out, also try fruit tingles and Tums - they helped in the early days.
Try to figure out what the trigger is too. For me early on it was white bread. Now it's pasta and rice. Working it out is frustrating because it could have been fine yesterday. Sleep on a couple of pillows. It's horrible.
