I had friends who were identical twins called Silvie and Sadie. Awesome name.

Sadie or Thalia? Both are awesome :D. No one seems to care about the song.

I know a couple of Tahlias, not sure about Sadie though - I'd constantly get that song stuck in my head!

I actually read Thalia as Tahlia, which I'm not a fan of but really like the pronunciation of Thalia and don't think it rhyming with failure is a problem.

Sadie, the cleaning lady, with just a scrubbing brush and pail of water, scrubs her fingers to the bone......something, something - it was Johnny Farnhams first hit long time ago.

I love Sadie. I think as time goes on, less and less people will even know of the connection to the song. Neighbours of ours had boy/girl twins last year and named the little girl Sadie and it's just beautiful. It's a shame it wasn't used more I think.

I love the name a friends DD is Sadie. When she first told me her name I did think of the song but was just a short term thing in my head! Its a gorgeous name!

Sadie is actually short for Sarah. According to my 88yo grandma. And she should know ;)

I'm sure there's room in the world for 2 more Sadies :p
