Ok I'm not stressing about this 'cos I know we are all different, but I can't for the life of me feel my uterus when I'm lying down yet. Interested to know when others could first feel it and what it feels like. Thanks!

Soph,
I can't feel mine not even sure what to look for.
Soph
for me it was around 14 weeks that it was definately there.
Around 14 weeks for me - felt like a hardened lump (kinda like a tennis ball feel).
Once you have the doctor prodding you, you will know how to feel it.
Best wishes
Fletch, I am like you, after reading Soph's messages in First Tri (hee hee) I read about feeling something between pelvic bone (area) mine is a hard lump...
My dr suggested the best way to feel it early on is to lie on your tummy with a pillow under your tummy...I did that at about week 12 and could feel something hard...
im not sure what to look for but i can feel the baby's back sometimes, i think i can feel the top because i look very closely at where they press at my visits lol
take care
Lesley
I think about 20 weeks?? Not til there was a definite bulge. My dr told me she couldn't feel it on her first child either - so dont feel paranoid if you cant feel it at all.
THanks for all your responses.
And Fi - ah you're the best, I like hearing things like that :D
