Professor and I just realised that yesterday was the anniversary of his sister's death, and we didn't ring his parents.
Our 6th anniversary is less than a month away, and neither of us have given it any thought.
I just can't believe it's already July, I'm not even used to it being 2012 yet! Everything is just going so freaking FAST!
Sooo, what am I supposed to get Professor?
I just had my 6th wedding anniversary and if I remember correctly, DH went away for the weekend and I stayed at home :( I am sure anything you come up with will be better than that!

It is just crazy how fast this year is going. My new baby is already a toddler! It goes too quickly :(
Are you guys traditional gift givers?
Our 5th anniversary is next week and the traditional gift is wood, we are going shopping together for some fruit trees :)

ETA - Not really Jaycee, we do check what it is to see if we can work something in, but it's hard enough buying for him anyway, without confining it to a traditional or modern thing, y'know? :)
We don't buy anything for each other at our Anniversary. We go out for dinner or doing something together or buy something we both want for the house like a nice painting.
We just had our 6th anniversary in may. DH gave me some soaps from perfect potions (my fav soaps) and I got him work/business shirts.
Not very exciting. But something we both like or need. Went out for dinner as well with a voucher I bought online and my brother watched kids (well they were in bed before we left)
We're another couple that go out and spend time together for our anniversary, it's our 5th wedding anniversary this year, sp we'll probably go away for the night, dinner for 2, sightseeing etc.
We dont do gifts but it's our tenth this year! Which means two things
A) I want to do something special..
B) I'm OLD
I just emailed my brilliant idea to Professor - we should do a reverse anniversary this year, take the money in we've budgeted, and spend it on ourselves instead of each other! I mean, after 6 years, if we don't know if the other person loves us, anniversary presents are the least of our worries ;)
