I was gonna post this in LTTTC because I figure they're the only women who'd do this, but I could be wrong, so I'll pos it here instead :)
I wanna have a party when I find out I'm really and truly pregnant! I wanna tell all my friends at the same time, and just celebrate that after *insert flamin' long time here* I'M FINALLY PREGNANT!
I reckon Preggo Parties could totally become a thing - whaddya you reckon?

Yes! I'm not LTTTC but I have been longing for another bub for years! A preggo party sounds like a fab idea! Instead of balloons you could hang HPTs from the ceiling... Lol
That sounds like so much fun! But how would you contain the surprise? What would you say the party is for?

It sounds like fun but, honestly, as a fellow LTTTCer, I don't know if I could tempt fate like that. One thing I have learnt from a very dear friend is that pregnancy is the hope of a take-home baby, not a promise.
That said, if I do get pregnant, not long before due date I would like to do something like a blessing way with my closest friends and family.
I think a blessing way is a beautiful way to celebrate a new baby, healthy pregnancy, happy birth :):
I'd just invite my girlfriends over for a girl's night, and spring it on 'em when they got there!
N2L, totally know where you're coming from. But I've never been able to tell people I'm pregnant without an immediately following 'but......' I want my next baby to be celebrated while they're alive, how long that may be. They may not get a blessingway, they can at least have a preggo party, y'know?
