Anyone know how to get cherry stains out of 100% cotton sheets?
I'd look up Shannon Lush. She is an amazing clean solution wizard using a bit of science to sort out the best cleaning procedure based on the make up of the staining agent. You could google shannon lush cherry.
Other than that, I had success with removing Cherry juice from my DDs clothes using a bar of Sard Wonder soap. Dampen area, rub on sard soap and let it sit for a day then wash as normal.
Don't have any. :( dont even have any bi carb! Argh!
Thank you, I'll see what I can get today, hopefully it's not a time issue!
I googled Shannon Lush but only got book reviews no actual solutions.
My mind is wandering as to how the cherry stains got onto your sheets ;)
Small child ausgirl ;)
A few days between Cherry juice and Sard worked out fine for me ;)
As for Shannon, when I googled shannon lush and cherry I found this on a woman's day page:
You can get glycerine in a chemist or sometimes at the supermarket. As for sunshine, you should be fine where you are for that! ;):
Cherry: Wipe with white glycerine and white vinegar and hang it in the sun. The UV rays actually react with the vinegar and bleach it out for you.
ETA: I have never used this method but I do find Shannon's hints to be incredibly helpful generally. I do swear by Sard wonder soap though. I don't think it has been beaten by a stain yet.
Thanks Jackrose, wonder why I didn't get that page :/
Lol Ausgirl! I'll copy what I posted on fb this morning...
