Play time
The boys will be heading back to school soon and that's going to leave me with a very upset clingy daughter for awhile.
I would like to get her some toys/things to play but haven't a clue what to get her.
She is 14 months. Not really into Barbie yet. she is happy to break all the lego creations her brothers make. she just tags along with them mostly. But they are boys and 4 and 6.
When will she start wanting to play different stuff to her brothers? She's very girly already. LOVES pretty shoes lol

Play time
Hi,
Sorry no bought toy ideas... Only home made ones!
In my experience at this stage children like to collect and carry items around so small baskets are great for this. Also putting things in and out of containers like old fashioned pegs pegged around an ice cream container so she can take them off the edge and have a go at putting them
Back on. Posting boxes are also popular and making your own is easy. A shoe box works well with a slot cut out so she can post say milk bottle lids and then open the lid and tip them out to start again.
Have fun!

At that age- my DD loved anything on wheels that she could push around.
She has a little cheapie dolls pram and pushed it for ages- still loves it now :)
Also a plastic bottle filled with pasta- to shake.
Anything to unpack and pack up again.
A box with plastic shapes- tip it all over the floor and pick it up again

My daughter is 14 months and we just bought her a Etch-a-sketch..she loves it!
Also friend got me a box from Cambodia (but i am sure you could get one here) that has a lid and is full of letters so she just pulls them all out and puts them back in along with anything else that fits..lol (the thongs she tried were a little big). It has the added bonus of when she shows us a letter we can tell her what it is..i.e Oh that's a G for Grandma etc...never too young to start them on letters!
I think they are at the funny stage where all the toys are either for babies or for toddlers...

Awesome thank you. U love the fact that home made toys are loved. My boys got "sophisticated" too fast. Simple is great :)
