Twitching/Spasm at 8 weeks

I'm having these twitches/muscle spasms in my uterus. DP could feel it too when he put his hand there.

I know it's not the baby, but what is it? Has anyone else experienced it?

Yep, I used to feel it too Aimz. Could be the uterus and pelvic muscles stretching and moving.

Hi Aimz,

Experiencing the same thing here, normal stretching I would say. It does make you stress a little though!

Yeh I had it too.

I always put it down to extra blood flow/stretching/hormones.

I had lots of cramps and stretching feelings in the first Trimester.

It's worrying, but normal.
