Tax

Ok i know this is a silly question but ive not had much sleep and my mind is pulling up blank.....How do i work out what our income will be after tax? DH has just got paid and it wayyyy under what we were expecting and ild like to make sure im right in him being underpaid before i get him to say something?

There is a calculator on the ato website and there are also the tax tables too. Does he have a HECs or student loan debt?

yep, the ato has a calculator. Is there child support or hecs involved?

Nope none of those. Just the income. They told him what he would get in his hand a week but turns out the amout they said was before tax but they made out it was after and i just want to dbl check the amout before he says some thing. Lol i tried the online tax one but it had things like medicare tax and some other stuff too so got confused lol
