Would you call?
I applied for a job that was perfect for me around 10 days ago, and haven't heard anything as yet. There was no closing date listed on the ad
Is it good ettiquette to call them to follow up on your application or would you leave it until you're contacted in some form (either for an interview or sorry you didn't get the job :))

I'd contact them. It shows you're keen and you'll know either way.

If there was no closing date listed, I don't see any harm in simply enquiring when the closing date is and when you can expect to hear something. You certainly have nothing to lose by calling.

Yes, contact them. That way you will know if they are still looking or have already got someone. It also shows you are not afraid to follow up

By all means follow up - but most jobs don't contact you if they don't want to interview as there are too many applicants. Or at least that's what I'm told and indeed a lot of ads say. Hope this isn't the case for you.
