It doesn't impact. Other than increases your chances of GD. I never had any problems with either pregnancy.
I'm always happy to be stalked ;) It was just something that occurred to me today, my BSLs have been under control until the last couple of weeks, but now I'm regularly going low. Food type/ quantities don't seem to affect it. At first I thought I was getting sick, but it's been a couple weeks and nothing....except nausea :o So, just getting thoughts before getting excited ;)
not too sure but i was on metformin for IR prior to falling pregnant with both DD's. and i kept taking it up until i was 14 weeks.
i wasn't testing bsl's so not sure what my levels would've been. i did go on to have insulin dependant gd with DD1 and although my tests for DD2 said i didn't have gd i think i did as i was monitoring my bsl's throughout her pregnancy and averaged 8-10mmo/L readings for after food and 6-7mmo for fasting.
