Name my new-old car :p
My faithful Commodore "Tin Lids" gave up on me around a year ago. While I was going to wait until we had the money for a new family car, my dad decided last night that I could have the little Festiva he'd loaned out to an employee. (Yes, I'm a daddy's girl. One day I'll be able to buy something on my own :rofl:) He's going to look at Tin Lids and see if she can be saved, but it's not looking likely I'll get her back.
I've been driving "Newbie" all day, and I'm enamored. It might not be love yet, but she definitely needs a name to help me develop feelings for her. I just can't think of one! Bellybelly helped name my Mum's dog last year, so I'm coming to you all for help again.
I don't really have a lot of criteria for names, I'll consider pretty much anything!
Some info gathered from one day of zipping around:
- Very speedy, a bit tougher to slow down.
- Gives me a workout with the steering, especially around corners
- Tiny! This is such a small car compared to what I'm used to. I keep forgetting the size and driving her like I would a bigger car.
- A bit battered. She's 17 years old, and you can tell in some areas.
- Letters in the license plate at the moment are "RUV" but if Tin Lids can't be saved the new car will inherit her plates: TLMROX
- Lightish metallic blue paint. I've got pink car seat covers on already :p
